Review:
A bit of a forgotten gem, this one, made back before Tom, Daryl, Ron et al were all Hollywood Royalty - and don't they all look young?  The plot is pure bubblegum but Hanks and Hannah manage to make the emotions real.  The real joy of it however is Levy's crazed scientist and Candy as a cynical hedonist... personally I think it's his best film performance ever.  The funniest scene is Candy playing squash - cracks me up every time.  Extra points for being a quirky cute little film with loads of laughs, feel-good factor and a glorious happy ending.  The costumes are weird 1980s efforts, but fade into insignificance beside Candy's towering comic genius.
